INDIANAPOLIS − The Wisconsin men’s basketball team is headed to March Madness.
The Badgers (26-9) earned a No. 3 seed in the East Region and will face No. 14 Montana (25-9) on Thursday in Denver.
Montana won the Big Sky Conference tournament as the No. 2 seed.

The Badgers have made the NCAA tournament in six of 10 seasons with Greg Gard as head coach (The Badgers won the Big Ten regular season in 2019-20 but the tournament was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic).
