CLEVELAND (WJW) – Don’t expect to get any mail on January 20 as the country celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The United States Postal Service is observing the holiday as usual but will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 21. According to USPS, although there will be no regular mail service, Priority Mail Express is delivered 365 days a year and will be delivered on Jan. 20.
FedEx, on the other hand, will operate as usual with modified service to FedEx Express and Ground Economy, according to its website.
There will be no UPS pickup or delivery service and UPS Store locations may be closed on the holiday, but this varies by location.
According to UPS, UPS Express Critical service is available every day, including holidays.
Amazon will also not deliver any packages on Monday, Jan. 20.
UPS and Amazon will be open and delivering packages and mail as usual on President’s Day, which falls on February 17, 2025. USPS and FedEx will both be following their holiday schedules on President’s Day, according to their respective websites.
