Days before the Super Bowl, the top offensive player, offensive rookie, defensive player, defensive rookie, most valuable player, and more are honored at the televised award show.

Which Detroit Lions are in the running for major awards?

Quarterback Jared Goff is a finalist for two awards, the Walter Payton Man of the Year and league MVP. Goff was recognized for his philanthropic work off the field and will join the 31 other Walter Payton nominees on stage tonight. Goff is also in the conversation for league MVP alongside Josh Allen, Saquon Barkley, Lamar Jackson, and Joe Burrow. Jackson and Allen are heavy favorites leading up to the event.

Lions coach Dan Campbell is a favorite for the Coach of the Year award alongside Minnesota’s Kevin O’Connell, Denver’s Sean Payton, Washington’s Dan Quinn, and Kansas City’s Andy Reid.

Former offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and former defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn are both nominated for Assistant Coach of the Year.
