Tiger Woods and the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr are dating, it has been reported.
The golfer, 49, and Vanessa Trump, 47, have allegedly been seeing each other for several months going back to last Thanksgiving.
Their relationship is “not too serious”, but it is “heading in that direction,” an insider told Page Six.
“They have a lot in common. They’ve both gotten used to public scrutiny. They both know how to keep their private life private. They’re both parents,” the source added.
Ms Trump and Woods are said to live 20 minutes from one another in Palm Beach, Florida, and were seen together at a golf tournament last month.
“Tiger and Vanessa have been seeing each other since just before Thanksgiving,” a source told The Daily Mail.
“She comes to his place on Jupiter Island. They’re not living together. She comes over maybe a few nights a week.
“They just love hanging out, having dinner and schmoozing together. They’re sticking close to home, have decided not to make it a thing and go out in public. Not just yet anyway.”
Woods, a five-time Masters winner, has a long-standing friendship with the US president, and the pair played a round of golf together last month.
After Woods won his first Masters title in 1997, he celebrated alongside Mr Trump at his Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City.
Since then, Mr Trump has named a villa after the golfer, and Woods has designed a course at a luxury real estate project owned by the president in Dubai.
Ms Trump is the ex-wife of Mr Trump’s son, Don Jr. It is not clear how she and Woods met, but there is a golfing connection through their children, who go to the same school.
Ms Trump’s daughter Kai is a 17-year-old budding golf influencer who is viewed by many as a rising star of the Maga movement.
She frequently shares video of herself out on the golf course at Mar-a-Lago, often playing alongside her grandfather, the president.
Kai and Woods’ children Charlie, 16, and Sam, 17, are all pupils at The Benjamin School, which charges fees of $35,595 a year, according to The Daily Mail.
Both Kai and Charlie are aspiring professional golfers, with Kai committing to playing at the University of Miami next year.
The two families appear to have grown increasingly close, after being pictured together for the first time last month attending a PGA Tour invitational tournament at Torrey Pines in California.
During his first term, Mr Trump presented Woods with the presidential medal of freedom in honour of his fifth Masters win.
Don Jr and Ms Trump divorced in 2019, and she has not had a public relationship since the split.
Prior to her marriage, she dated a series of celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio and Saudi prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud.
The former couple, who share five children, attended an inauguration watch-party together, and Don Jr has said he is “cool” with his ex-wife dating Woods, according to People Magazine.
The president’s eldest son is a close adviser to his father, helping to manage many of his businesses and playing a prominent role in the election campaign.
Woods has not been married since 2010, when a cheating scandal led to his divorce from the mother of his children, Elin Nordegren.
He then dated Erica Herman, a former manager at one of his restaurants, for six years until 2023.
Addressing Woods’s relationship with Ms Trump, an insider told Page Six: “They’re a good match; they’re level-headed, they like to avoid drama, they share a lot of the same values.”
The source added that the golfer had “always tried to date girls who just weren’t right for him”.
“She’s not starstruck by him; she’d date him even if he weren’t famous,” the insider said. “Fame doesn’t interest her; that’s what he likes best about her … We’ll see where it goes.”
Ms Trump and Don Jr were married for 12 years before she filed for divorce in 2018.
After their divorce, Don Jr was engaged to Kimberly Guifoyle, a former San Francisco prosecutor, and is now dating Bettina Anderson, a Palm Beach socialite.
