SHREVEPORT, La. – Thousands of SWEPCO customers across the ArkLaTex were without power Tuesday morning as storms pushed through the region.
At 12:35 p.m., about 22,100 customers were without service. That’s down from 29,000 at the peak of the storm earlier this morning.

The most extensive damage was reported in Texas, particularly in the Marshall and Longview areas, as well as in Louisiana, where the hardest-hit locations included Shreveport and Hornbeck.
