Traitors and Faithful, alike! Gather around for the thrilling conclusion of The Traitors Season 3, where banishments run amok and the Seer power shakes up the game! (Well, sort of.)
When we resume our murrrrderous tale, Danielle and Ivar sit at the roundtable, their fates in the hands of a nail-biting tie-vote. So did the season’s most dramatic traitor of them all, Danielle, survive that cliffhanging banishment? Not a chance. And what makes this stunner of a vote even that much more jaw-dropping: Britney casts the vote that was the nail in Danielle’s coffin. (“You did it to me again.”) Absolutely devastating.
Before we carry on with this recap, I’d like to go on the record in saying that Danielle hate will not be tolerated, people. No, sirs and ma’ams! It has become evident lately while perusing the socials that a lot of people haven’t seen Danielle’s wowing “best to never win” Big Brother 3 performance. She may have made for a messy traitor, but Danielle remains one of the truest OG reality TV queens. Plus, she’s insanely watchable. Put respect on her name!
Alan then reveals that Britney is the winner of the coveted Seer power, which is lucky for her since she’s the last remaining traitor. She invites Gabby to a champagne-soaked soirée, where Brit opens a little envelope that gives her information she already knows: Gabby is a faithful! (:::pretends to be shocked::: GIF here.) At breakfast, Britney plays it smart: She tells the group that Gabby is, indeed, a faithful. Dylan was convinced that Brit was going to try and frame Gabby, hence revealing her own identity. Nope!
MISSION | The players track a location and complete a simple little math equation to find a bunch of money bags. They deliver the cash to Alan. An easy-peasy $25K, right? Wrong. Alan then gives them a chance to double their money, only they’ll have to do it dangling from underneath a helicopter! Toss the money bags into a ring of fire. Double their value. When all is said and done, the total prize pot notches up to $204,300! But there’s still plenty of game left to play before we put crowns on the winners’ heads.
FINAL ROUNDTABLE | Ahead of the table, Britney gets to work in convincing the other women that Dylan is a traitor. Her “evidence”: Danielle’s reaction to Dylan voting her out.
Once everyone is officially seated, Ivar speaks up about his suspicions of Dolores, and she fires back at him with her own raised eyebrows. Dylan then speaks up about Britney. He brings up Derrick’s former suspicions and Brit’s beef with many of the other traitors in the game. But the Big Brother blonde isn’t going down without a fight. She fires everything she’s got back at Mr. Efron, but when the votes are revealed, all of the other players side with Dylan. A teary Brit, however, cannot reveal her identity and is told to leave the castle immediately.
FIRE OF TRUTH | At the end of the game, just four players remain — and they’re all faithfuls. But how well do they trust one another? Alan gives them the option to banish again or end the game, and all four vote to end it. Thus, Gabby, Dylan, Dolores and Ivar become your newly crowned winners of The Traitors!
