Grant Ellis is starting his own search for love on season 29 of The Bachelor.
The 31-year-old day trader — originally a contestant on Jenn Tran‘s season of The Bachelorette —was revealed as the 29th bachelor following his elimination. Tran sent Ellis home shortly before hometowns and soon after he confessed he was falling in love with her. Now, he’s ready to give love another go — this time, from the driver’s seat.
“Without giving away too much, things ended the way they were supposed to end, and I’m happy with it,” the former basketball player told PEOPLE ahead of the season premiere. “I’m happy with decisions I made, and I don’t regret anything. I’m very happy with the ending.”
