In the summer of 2024, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian and his wife, Loreal, announced their divorce, citing time commitment to their respective professions as the main reason for the split.

“After many heartfelt conversations, we have decided to amicably part ways and jointly file for divorce,” a statement from the couple read.

“We aim to remain the best of friends and are incredibly grateful for the love and support we have shared throughout our journey together. Our commitments to our respective careers made it difficult to prioritize time for each other and this step will provide us with the necessary time and space professionally while continuing to support each other personally. While we appreciate all the love and encouragement we have received, we kindly ask for your understanding and privacy during this transition as we embark on this new chapter in our lives.”

Just a few months after the split, Loreal was spotted on the Texas sideline and walked off the field with her ex-husband. The two appear to have reconciled because she’s been a mainstay at games this season – including the College Football Playoff. 

Ahead of the Cotton Bowl, she was busy with her profession.

“I’m so excited to be a guest on @wfaa with the amazing @diawall12 , where we’ll be talking all things Game Day Fashion and sharing a bit of my personal journey. 🏈👗Set your reminders—Tonight at 10pm ✨you don’t want to miss this! 💥,” she said in the caption of the post.

Fans couldn’t get enough.

“I loooove this look. #Janet,” offered another.

“Gorgeous🔥,” another said simply.

Ohio State and Texas kick off from AT&T Stadium in the Cotton Bowl on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. EST. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
