The newest true crime documentary to hit streaming is about mommy vlogger and alleged child abuser Ruby Franke.
The three-part series “Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke” on Hulu chronicles the events leading up to Franke’s arrest for child abuse in August 2023 after spending years sharing her seemingly picture-perfect family life with millions of subscribers on YouTube.
Franke pleaded guilty to four felony counts of second-degree aggravated child abuse as part of a plea agreement in December 2023 and was sentenced to four prison terms of one to 60 years each. Her business partner, Jodi Hildenbrandt, also pled guilty to the charges.
Now, for the first time on camera, Franke’s two oldest children, Shar and Chad Franke, along with their dad Kevin, are sharing what happened to them.
Family members of the Frankes, along with friends, neighbors and hours and hours of unseen footage, will showcase the details of this disturbing case.
