NFL DFS: Optimizer releases 2025 Divisional daily fantasy football picks, projections for DraftKings, FanDuel

USATSI

Both Divisional Round Sunday games in the 2025 NFL playoffs are rematches of regular-season matchups. The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Los Angeles Rams at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday after the Eagles defeated the Rams, 37-20, in Week 12. The Buffalo Bills will host the Baltimore Ravens at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+ after the Ravens defeated the Bills, 35-10, in Week 4. How should these previous matchups affect how daily Fantasy football players form NFL DFS lineups and create an NFL DFS strategy?

Saquon Barkley rushed for 255 yards and two touchdowns for the Eagles in the previous meeting, while Derrick Henry had 199 rushing yards and a touchdown with a receiving score for the Ravens. Although they are two of the most expensive options in the Sunday Divisional Round NFL DFS player pool, should you find a way to include them both in NFL DFS lineups? Top NFL Divisional Round picks for Sunday

One of the Optimizer’s top DFS value picks for Sunday is Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman ($4,900 on DraftKings and $6,200 on FanDuel). Bateman only had two receptions for 24 yards in Wild Card Weekend against the Steelers, but one of those resulted in a 15-yard touchdown for Baltimore’s first score in a 28-14 victory. He was involved from early in the contest before Baltimore took control and rushed often. But with Buffalo expected to be a more competitive matchup with the Ravens favored by 1.5 points, according to the latest Divisional Round NFL odds from the SportsLine consensus, compared to them being 9.5-point favorites against Pittsburgh last week, the Ravens will likely need to throw and rely on their pass-catchers more on Sunday.

The 25-year-old was second on the Ravens in receiving yards (756) and targets (72) behind Zay Flowers this season, but Flowers remained out of practice earlier in the week and missed Wild Card Weekend with a knee injury. Even if Flowers can play, he’ll likely be less than 100%, so Bateman has a strong chance of being heavily involved in this weekend’s game plan either way. Bateman has five touchdowns over his last five games, including Wild Card weekend, and with a game over/under at 51.5 points, Bateman could find the end zone again and return value for Sunday NFL DFS lineups. See who else to pick here.

The Optimizer’s NFL DFS strategy also includes rostering Rams running back Kyren Williams ($6,900 on DraftKings and $7,700 on FanDuel). Williams rushed for 76 yards on 16 carries (4.8 yards per rush) while having three receptions for 16 yards, including a 5-yard touchdown reception for Los Angeles’ first score in a 27-9 win over the Vikings over Wild Card Weekend.

Williams played 46 of 53 snaps (87%) against the Vikings last weekend to continue his significant workload. The 24-year-old has played at least 79% of snaps in 16 of his 17 games this year, including over 85% 11 times. Williams has taken 79.8% of all Rams running backs carries during the regular season and postseason and his 87% snap rate during the regular season significantly led all running backs with Jonathan Taylor (80%) ranking second. Expect another heavy workload against the Eagles, who Williams rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown against earlier this season. You can see the rest of the Optimizer’s NFL DFS picks here.
