NCAA tournament: Download the full 2025 brackets for the men’s and women’s tournaments

The 2025 NCAA Tournament brackets were revealed for men’s and women’s basketball on Sunday, kicking off March Madness.

On the men’s side, McNeese State (27-6) returns to the big dance this year after winning the Southland Conference Tournament Championship. The Cowboys, who have gone viral this season with the team’s student manager Amir Khan and the program’s pre-game tunnel walkouts, are the only men’s basketball program representing Louisiana this year. The team is led by the likes of Joe Charles, Javohn Garcia and Quadir Copeland.

In the Providence Region, No. 12 McNeese will face No. 5 Clemson on March 20. The winner of that game will face the winner of No. 4 Purdue-No. 13 High Point.

Both Louisiana representatives in this year’s women’s bracket hail from Baton Rouge with Southern (20-14) and LSU (28-5).

The Tigers’ primary question for this year’s tournament are the statuses of guard Flau’jae Johnson and forward Aneesah Morrow. Both Tigers stars recently missed time due to injuries, and head coach Kim Mulkey said both of them should be ready to play again by tournament time.

No. 3 LSU is facing No. 14 San Diego State on March 22 in the Spokane Regional. The winner will face the winner of No. 6 Florida State and No. 11 George Mason.

The Jaguars won the SWAC regular season and tournament championships this year. Southern’s success was more of a group effort led by Aniya Gourdine, Soniyah Reed and Tionna Lidge.

No. 16 Southern will take on No. 16 UC San Diego in a First Four matchup on March 21 in the Spokane Regional. The winner of the game will face No. 1 overall seed UCLA.
