MarJon Beauchamp traded to Clippers for Kevin Porter Jr.
The Bucks have made another trade.
MarJon Beauchamp, the Bucks’ first-round draft pick in 2022, has been traded to the Los Angeles Clippers for guard Kevin Porter Jr.
With the trade of AJ Johnson on Wednesday, the Bucks have now traded their last two first-round draft picks in the last two days.
Beauchamp, 24, never could become a consistent rotational player for the Bucks. And his playing time has decreased even more in his third season with the Bucks. He was averaging career lows at 4.7 minutes per game. In 126 career games with the Bucks, he averaged 4.2 points and 11.4 minutes per contest.
Porter Jr., 24, was actually selected by the Bucks at the 2019 NBA draft but was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers via the Detroit Pistons on draft night.

Marcus Smart traded to the Wizards, joins Khris Middleton
Khris Middleton’s new team, the Washington Wizards, have added veteran point guard Marcus Smart just before the trade deadline.
The Memphis Grizzlies sent the former defensive player of the year, along with a 2025 first-round draft pick, to the Wizards as part of a multi-team trade, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported.
Former Wisconsin Badgers star Johnny Davis, who was selected in the first round by the Wizards in 2022, is being sent to the Grizzlies as part of the trade.

Hawks are sellers at trade deadline: Bogdan Bogdanovic traded to Clippers
The Milwaukee Bucks’ upcoming opponent, the Atlanta Hawks, are sellers at the trade deadline.
In addition to trading De’Andre Hunter to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Hawks are sending sharp-shooter Bogdan Bogdanovic to the Los Angeles Clippers, along with three-second-round picks, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
In return, the Hawks will receiver Terance Mann and Bones Hyland.
The Hawks weren’t done selling off pieces.
They’re also trading Cody Zeller to the Houston Rockets, Charania reported.

Cavaliers add De’Andre Hunter in trade with Hawks
The Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers are adding a big piece in forward De’Andre Hunter from the Atlanta Hawks.
In exchange, the Hawks received Caris LeVert, Georges Niang, three second-round picks and two swaps, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

NBA trades: Cody Martin heading to Suns
A player the Bucks had been linked to — Charlotte Hornets small forward Cody Martin — is heading to Phoenix.
The Suns are acquiring Martin and a 2026 second-round pick in exchange for Jusuf Nurkic and a 2026 first-round pick, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Bucks trade Milwaukeean Patrick Baldwin Jr. to Spurs
Patrick Baldwin Jr. won’t get a chance to complete the trio of playing for a Milwaukee high school, college and pro team. The Milwaukee Bucks have dealt the newly acquired player to the San Antonio Spurs for cash considerations.
Baldwin was not a prominent rotation piece with the Washington Wizards, and a source said the Bucks were never seriously considering offering him a spot after the trade that also included Khris Middleton and Kyle Kuzma.
The graduate of Sussex Hamilton and alumnus at UW-Milwaukee will now head south, and the Bucks have an open roster spot.

Bucks acquire Jericho Sims in trade
The Milwaukee Bucks added another player on Wednesday night when they acquired New York Knicks center Jericho Sims for guard Delon Wright.
The 6-foot, 10-inch reserve player is in his fourth NBA season.
He has played in 39 games for the Knicks this season and averages just under 11 minutes off the bench.
Wright, acquired by the Bucks in the offseason to be Damian Lillard’s backup at point guard, was benched early in the season and never got back into the rotation. He played in just 26 games and averaged 2.5 points.

Khris Middleton traded to Wizards for Kyle Kuzma
Khris Middleton, a three-time All-Star who was in his 12th season with the Bucks, was traded to the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.
The Bucks also shipped out their 2024 first-round pick AJ Johnson, 20, to the Wizards as part of the deal. In return, the Bucks received forward Kyle Kuzma, who is in his eighth NBA season, and forward Patrick Baldwin Jr., a Sussex Hamilton graduate who played one year at UW-Milwaukee.
Middleton, 33, is the franchise’s all-time leader in made three-pointers and is second in games played and minutes, and third in points.
He has battled injuries over the last few years, including this season after having surgery on both of his ankles over the summer. He didn’t play his first game of the season until Dec. 6 and was now coming off the bench. Middleton was averaging 12.6 points per game in 23.2 minutes this season.

Pat Connaughton trade rumors
Pat Connaughton, according to HoopsHype, is a potential trade candidate.
He’s played in just 28 of the Bucks’ 48 games and is averaging 14.9 minutes per game, the fewest in his seven years with the team. His 4.5 points are also his lowest as a member of the Bucks.
As Connaughton has fallen out of the regular rotation, players like AJ Green and Andre Jackson Jr. have seen their roles increase in his place.
Connaughton, 32, has a $9.42 million player option for the 2025-26 season.

Bucks trade rumors: Cody Martin
The Bucks may not be done making trades.
Could they be looking to acquire Charlotte Hornets swingman Cody Martin?
The Bucks are one of three teams to have interest in the 29-year-old player, according to HoopsHyppe.
In his sixth NBA season, Martin is averaging 7.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 24.8 minutes. Martin has a non-guaranteed $8.68 million for the 2025-26 season.

Jimmy Butler traded to Warriors
Jimmy Butler, who has been disgruntled with the Miami Heat this season, is being traded to the Golden State Warriors, USA TODAY confirmed.
ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania first reported the trade Wednesday night.
It’s part of a five-team trade involving the Warriors, Heat, Detroit Pistons, Utah Jazz and Toronto Raptors.
Butler, the former Marquette star, has been suspended three times this season for various conduct issues as he and the Heat have waged a public feud over his contract.

NBA trades: PJ Tucker sent to Jazz and then to the Heat
Khris Middleton wasn’t the only former member of the Bucks’ 2021 NBA championship team to be traded this week. PJ Tucker was traded twice. The Los Angeles Clippers first traded PJ Tucker, who has not played this season, to the Utah Jazz. On Wednesday night, Tucker then was part of a five-team trade headlined by Jimmy Butler and was sent to Miami.
The Clippers acquired Tucker at the beginning of last season as part of a trade. But he grew dissatisfied with his role and he and the team agreed he wouldn’t play. Tucker is now on his fourth team since the Bucks did not re-sign him following the NBA Finals four years ago. Tucker turns 40 in May.

NBA trades: De’Aaron Fox to Spurs, Zach Lavine to the Kings
A day after the blockbuster trade involving Luka Doncic and Anthony Davis, the NBA had another three-team trade involving a couple All-Stars and one player who had been linked to the Bucks with De’Aaron Fox heading to to the San Antonio Spurs and the Bulls’ Zach Lavine going to the Sacramento Kings. The Journal Sentinel’s Jim Owczarski confirmed that the Bucks had conversations with the Bulls about LaVine.

Brandon Ingram traded from Pelicans to Raptors for Bruce Brown
Brandon Ingram, who has averaged over 20 points per game in each of the last six seasons, has been traded from the New Orleans Pelicans to the Toronto Raptors for veteran Bruce Brown Jr., Kelly Olynyk and two draft picks, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Ingram has been out of action since early December with an ankle injury. The 27-year-old was an All-Star in 2020.

Four days after the blockbuster trade in acquiring Luka Dončić, the Los Angeles Lakers had the internet buzzing again with another late night trade.
The Lakers traded 2024 first-round draft pick Dalton Knecht, Cam Reddish, a 2031 unprotected first-round pick and a 2030 pick swap to the Charlotte Hornets for center Mark Williams, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
