A weekend of collegiate basketball action is in the books and the NCAA men’s tournament 2025 field has been officially trimmed down to 16.
All four No.1 seeds, Auburn, Duke, Florida and Houston, have all made it safely through in what has remarkably been a tournament with very few notable upsets.
Arkansas is the only double-digit seed to make it through to the Sweet 16 after stunning No.2 seed St. John’s in the second round but outside of that, the dominant forces appear to be prevailing.
Sweet 16, the next phase of the NCAA’s illustrious college basketball tournament, will run from Thursday 27 March to Friday 28 March, with a place in the Elite Eight on Saturday 29 March and Sunday 30 March up for grabs.
