Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui both sent out spine-tingling reactions after Manchester United’s Europa League result against Real Sociedad on Thursday.
The Red Devils travelled to Spain last week and Manchester United and Real Sociedad played out a 1-1 draw at the Reale Arena in the first-leg last-16 clash.
Manchester United hosted Sociedad on Thursday evening at Old Trafford and the Red Devils came from behind and thumped the Spanish side 4-1 on the night.
Mikel Oyarzabal broke the deadlock from the spot-kick for Sociedad before Bruno Fernandes hit back with his own penalty strike for United only six minutes later.
Bruno Fernandes was sensational in the second-leg round-of-16 Europa League tie and the United captain converted his second penalty five minutes after the break.
The 30-year-old United and Portugal midfielder would complete a sensational hat-trick in the second half and Diogo Dalot also scored in injury time for United.
Sociedad were unable to climb back into the Europa League tie in the second half and the La Liga club were reduced to 10 men after Jon Aramburu was dismissed.

Manchester United have punched their ticket to the quarter-finals of the Europa League and will now face French side Lyon in the last eight next month.
The Red Devils travel to the Parc Olympique Lyonnais to face Lyon for their first-leg tie on 10th April before United host the Ligue 1 outfit at Old Trafford on 17th April.
The Europa League campaign is Ruben Amorim’s best hope of lifting major silverware this season and securing Champions League football for next season.
Matthijs de Ligt, who played the full 90 minutes against Real Sociedad, took to Instagram and celebrated Ruben Amorim’s men progressing in the competition.
Speaking on his social media page, the United defender wrote: “Quarter-finals next!”
Noussair Mazraoui, much like Matthijs de Ligt, played the full 90 minutes in United’s 4-1 win over Sociedad and also praised the Red Devils for reaching the last eight.

Posting on Instagram, he wrote: “Next round [is] quarter-finals! As one! Top support at Old Trafford!”
Bruno Fernandes was spotted in the comments of Noussair Mazraoui’s post and the Red Devils skipper dropped a clear-cut message after the Europa League win.
“Unstoppable,” he wrote, adding a fire emoji.
Speaking after the 4-1 scoreline at Old Trafford, United manager Ruben Amorim insisted that his focus is now completely on the Red Devils’ match on Sunday.
“The feeling is completely different. Not just the result, but the way we play,” he said at his post-match press conference, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“It is the same job but it is completely different. The good thing and the bad thing after this game is that it is over and, tomorrow, we are going to think about how Sunday is going to be hard. The next game in the Premier League.”
United travel to the King Power Stadium on Sunday for their Premier League clash with Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Leicester City side, with kick-off slated for 7pm UK time.
