This week has been a flurry of opinions, projections, and predictions about the Penn State vs. Notre Dame matchup in the Orange Bowl. While Ohio State is a significant favorite to win the other College Football Playoff Semifinals matchup, the evenness of the game between the Nittany Lions and Fighting Irish has drawn more buzz and attention. They are two teams with virtually identical strengths and weaknesses on paper, film and recruiting.
