We all knew Florida was a dominant team, and they looked every bit of that in their first round thumping of Norfolk State.

He’s Marcus Moore Senior.

I’m Jason Fitzs.

Marcus, what did you see here from Florida?

Oh man, they started with the point guard.

Walter Clayton, he came out extremely hot.

I thought this game was gonna get bad early on, but hats off to Norfolk State, they continue to fight, um, a great program over there and, you know, they didn’t get the doors blew off them, but, uh, we all accepted that, uh, Florida was gonna beat this one and it was an easy game for them.

I mean, Norfolk State couldn’t shoot from 3, we all saw that, but I think it’s interesting.

You said to me when we started this whole tournament action that sometimes when you’re taking on the underdog, you got to know early in the game how to sort of throttle them down and Florida did that from the outset.

I was very impressed on how they came out very aggressive.

You know how you kinda take your foot off the gas, man, not knowing what Norfolk State was gonna bring, but Florida showed why they’ve been playing the best basketball in the country and took care of business.

Florida number one seed advances as expected with the 9569.

Nice win.
