Cameron Mathison confirmed his home has been destroyed by one of the wildfires currently burning through the Los Angeles area.
The All My Children alum, 55, shared the aftermath of the blaze that leveled his L.A. home in an Instagram Reel on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
In the clip, Mathison walks down a path that appears to be outside of where the home once stood as orange skies and billowing smoke are visible in the background. The gate leading to an outdoor patio area is off its hinges, while much of the surrounding greenery is scorched.
As he makes his way to the main part of the house, the charred structure still appears to be on fire. Further in the distance, larger flames are still burning in full force.

“We are safe. But this is what’s left of our beautiful home,” Mathison wrote alongside the video. “Our home where our kids were raised and where they wanted to raise their own someday.”
The actor shares two children — daughter Lelia, 18, and son Lucas, 21 — with his ex-wife Vanessa.

“Thanks to all who reached out and checked in,” he continued. “Can’t respond to all so wanted to give an update here. Sending so many prayers to everyone being affected by these fires,” he concluded the caption, followed by a prayer hands emoji.

He also documented the evacuation process on his Instagram Stories, where he shared more scenes of the blaze and expressed his gratitude to the “heroes” directing traffic as residents rushed to leave.
Many other celebrities who live in the area have been sharing updates on the status of their homes and their safety.
On Wednesday, Jan. 8, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag Pratt confirmed their home was destroyed by the fire, followed by Mandy Moore revealing she doesn’t know if her home has survived the blaze after she and her family evacuated.
Jamie Lee Curtis also shared that her home is “possibly” on fire in an Instagram post, but assured her followers that she and her family are safe.

There are currently five wildfires burning throughout the Los Angeles area as of Wednesday, Jan. 8.
Most of the fires are 0% contained, including the largest Palisades Fire which has burned 3,000 acres of land since it first sparked around 10:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
The Eaton Fire, Hurst Fire, Woodley Fire and Tyler Fire are still burning throughout the region.
Los Angeles County Fire Department chief Anthony C. Marrone confirmed two people have died during the Eaton Fire in a news briefing on Wednesday, Jan. 8, according to CBS News and NBC News.
