The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game drew thousands of fans to Oakland Arena on Friday, Feb. 14, for the chance to watch their favorite musicians, actors and athletes on the court.
Streamer Kai Cenat, “Stick Season” singer Noah Kahan and Emmy-winning actor Rome Flynn were among the players on San Francisco Giants legend Barry Bonds and rapper 2 Chainz’s team. Former San Francisco 49ers champ Jerry Rice and influencer Khaby Lame’s team featured stars such as comedian Druski, Empire Records musician Shaboozey and Golden State Valkyries forward Kayla Thornton.
The two coaches kicked off the game with some friendly trash talking. Bonds, who grew up in San Carlos and attended high school in San Mateo, proudly touted his Bay Area roots while Rice flaunted his three Super Bowl rings.
