Kendrick Bourne already made his case a couple of weeks ago for the New England Patriots to go after this star wide receiver this offseason.
And Bourne was back at it Monday after Cooper Kupp revealed the Los Angeles Rams have put him on the trade block.
Bourne, who was college teammates with Kupp at Eastern Washington, thinks the Patriots should spare no expense in trying to bring Kupp to New England.
“I ain’t no GM or nothing but I can promise anyone this money is gonna be worth it!!!!!!!” Bourne posted on the X platform.
Kupp certainly would fill a big hole for the Patriots as they are in need of a game-changing talent at wide receiver for quarterback Drake Maye to throw to. Kupp would also bring a veteran voice to the locker room.

Kupp, who was the 2021 Offensive Player of the Year, didn’t have his best campaign this past season, but was still productive with 67 receptions for 710 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games. Kupp would have led all Patriots pass-catchers in those three categories.
But the Rams want to move on from the 31-year-old, who has a history of injuries and is set to have a $12.5 million base salary in 2025 with a $29.8 million cap hit.

“I was informed that the team will be seeking a trade immediately and will be working with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships,” Kupp wrote on social media. “I don’t agree with the decision and always believed it was going to begin and end in LA. Still, if there’s one thing that I have learned over the years: there are so many things that are out of your control, but it is how you respond to these things that you will look back on and remember.”
Kupp added: “Preparations start now for 2025. Highly motivated, as healthy as ever, and looking forward to playing elite football for years to come.”

Kupp will most likely draw plenty of interest across the league. But if it was up to Bourne, Kupp would be putting on a Patriots uniform next season.
