Chris Wood, the scorer of the opening goal, looked frustrated when he came out for his post-match interview with TNT Sports.
“In the manner of how it worked out, it feels like a bit of a frustration and a disappointment, especially with the way we conceded,” he said. “We’re normally a lot better than that at set plays and it leaves a sour taste in the mouth.”
But he was then asked if it’s a sign of how far Forest have come that they are disappointed to only take a point against the league leaders.
“Yeah, well and truly,” said Wood. “They’re a good side and they’ve shown it all season, we had to stand up and be counted today. It shows that we’ve come a long way but we’ve got a long way to keep competing and winning these games.”
