Famous ‘SNL’ alum vomits at courtside during New York Knicks game

NEW YORK — Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan was taken from Monday’s New York Knicks game in a wheelchair after he reportedly vomited while at courtside.

Morgan, 56, who was a longtime cast member of “Saturday Night Live” and also starred in “30 Rock,” became ill during the third quarter of the Knicks game against the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden, USA Today reports. His illness delayed the game for about 10 minutes as people came to his aid, CBS Sports reports.

Variety reports that video posted to social media shows Morgan being taken from courtside in a wheelchair as he attempts to stop an apparent nosebleed with a towel.

Morgan, a New York resident, reportedly is a longtime Knicks fan and often is seen courtside at games. The Knicks won Monday’s game, 116-95.

“We hope everything’s good with Tracy Morgan,” Knicks guard Josh Hart said after the game, USA Today reports. “Avid, lifetime Knick fan, so prayers go out to him and his health and safety.”

Reports did not indicate if Morgan required hospitalization.
