Stephen Curry’s unmatched shooting prowess has reached the milestone of 4,000 made threes across his illustrious career. He hit the threshold in trademark fashion on Thursday, faking Sacramento’s defense into a fly-by prior to side-stepping and draining a triple.
The 37-year-old continues to bomb away as prolifically as ever, connecting on 39.4% of 11.3 threes per game this season.

Warriors get Chef a W amid historic night
Stephen Curry 4,000 3PM milestone may have been burdensome Thursday night, as the superstar was limited to just 11 points (4-9 FG), but an on-brand team performance generated a controlling 130-104 victory over Sacramento.
Despite moving some pieces around, Golden State’s depth has been an asset all year. That was certainly the case Thursday, as eight players posted double-digit scoring. The floor spacing of Quinton Post (10 points, 3-7 3PM) and the continued presence of Jimmy Butler (six points, five rebounds, seven assists) have added new wrinkles to the Warrior’s style.
Draymond Green was aggressive early, ultimately finishing with 23 points (8-14 FG, 4-7 3PM). Golden State moves to 13-1 with Butler since acquiring him.
DeMar DeRozan (23 points, seven assists) led Sacramento as a scorer and facilitator across 35 minutes of action. The Kings’ defense was gashed, allowing a 57.7/56.4/75.0% shooting split with 24 free-throw attempts for Golden State.

Bucks’ dominate despite Dončić’s best game as a Laker
A remarkably balanced effort from Giannis Antetokounmpo (24 points, 12 rebounds, nine assists), Brook Lopez (23 points, four rebounds, five assists, four blocks), Damian Lillard (22 points 10 assists) and Kevin Porter Jr. (22 points) propelled a near wire-to-wire 126-106 victory over the Lakers.
The two-way impact of Brook Lopez was palpable, anchoring Milwaukee’s defense, being a connector offensively, and converting on his looks. His consistent defensive effort has been a core pillar of Milwaukee’s success over the years.
Luka Donćić (45 points, 14-27 FG, 10-12 FT) and Austin Reaves (28 points, 10-17 FG) were the only Lakers to exceed 10 points Thursday. Donćić is beginning to find his rhythm in his new city, posting at least 30 points in four of his last five games.
Brook balled out on both ends.

📢❗🚨SEE RED🔴🔴🔴. Bulls earn comeback win
After trailing for the majority of Thursday’s contest, Chicago ran up a 34-18 advantage in the fourth quarter to defend home court with a 116-110 victory over Brooklyn.
Cameron Thomas (24 points, six rebounds, 10 assists) notched his first double-double of the season, but it was Coby White (31 points, 12-24 FG) who shined the brightest. Chicago was without Josh Giddey (ankle), but White has been a one-man army of late, averaging 27.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists across his last eight games.

Cade Cunningham stars, but Wizards prevail🪄🪄
Cunningham led all scorers with 38 points (9-25 FG, 0-7 3PM, 20-21 FT), but his foul-drawing prowess couldn’t overcome an inefficient evening versus Washington’s 44.4% shooting on 45 3PA, which fueled a 129-125 victory.
Seven players scored at least 14 points for Washington, headlined by rookie Alex Sarr collecting 19 points (7-12 FG, 3-6 3PM), five rebounds, three assists and four blocks. The 19-year-old fell just shy of what would have been his fifth 20-point game of the season.
Jalen Duren was Detroit’s second-leading scorer while recording his 33rd double-double (18 points, 14 rebounds) of the season.

White has one of the Association’s most potent transition players this season, ranking in the 91st percentile for frequency and 74th percentile for efficiency.

Orlando duo outdoes New Orleans
Out to a dominant 68-38 halftime lead over the Pelicans, the combined offense of Paolo Banchero (24 points, 9-12 FG) and Franz Wagner (20 points, 8-8 FG) has come with remarkable efficiency.
Banchero’s performance marks his 8th straight 20-point game dating back to Feb. 25, tying the longest streak of his career.
Zion Williamson (13 points, 5-10 FG) represents the only member of New Orleans with double-digit scoring.

Luka Dončić 50-piece incoming👀👀
Dončić is up to 29 points (9-15 FG) — which featured a personal 10-0 run in the second quarter — at halftime. The Lakers trail the Bucks 71-63, but Dončić is in that mode.
He has tacked on seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block the Lakers, while Damian Lillard and Kevin Porter have countered for Milwaukee with 15 points apiece.

HOW DO YOU DO⁉️⁉️
Karlo Matkovic goes coast-to-coast to kick off New Orleans’ scoring. The Bosnia and Herzegovina native flashing two-way play could become a common theme down the stretch as the 23-year-old continues working towards a larger role with the Pelicans.

Giannis doing Giannis things
Giannis Antetokounmpo gets Milwaukee’s first four points of the night. The Lakers have the league’s fourth-best defensive rating across the last two weeks, but playing without LeBron James creates a vulnerability.
Antetokounmpo’s 227 dunk attempts entering Thursday’s game leads the NBA, with Detroit’s Jalen Duren in second with 205.

Key Storylines for the Night 🍿🍿
- Milwaukee looks to bounce back after being heartbroken by Tyrese Haliburton’s game-winning, four-point play on Tuesday. A formidable challenge awaits with the 40-23 Lakers, who are 8-2 in their last 10 games — although Thursday will mark the second consecutive game of LeBron James ongoing day-to-day absence due to a groin injury.
- Golden State will look to improve to 13-1 with Jimmy Butler this season. The Warriors have boomed for 121.2 points per game over that span.
- The Pistons will look to beat Washington to tip off the night. If they succeed, Detroit can move into sole possession of fourth place in the Eastern Conference with a Milwaukee loss.
