The Big Ten men’s basketball tournament runs Wednesday, March 12, through Sunday, March 16, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Michigan State won the regular-season championship, and Maryland, Michigan and UCLA join the Spartans in earning double-byes. They can rest until Friday’s quarterfinals. Purdue‘s late dip leaves it with No. 6 season, and Indiana‘s late surge gives it the No. 9 seed. Both will play Thursday.
Fifteen of the conference’s 18 teams earned spots in the event. Nebraska, Penn State and Washington will not participate.

The top four teams in the regular season get double-byes, and teams seeded 5th-9th get one bye. Teams seeded 10th-15th play on the first day of the tournament. The bottom three teams in the standings do not make the tournament.
