Lisa touched down at the Oscars 2025 with her rockstar energy.
The BLACKPINK rapper and dancer, 27, will make history on March 2 as the first K-pop artist to perform at the Academy Awards once she takes the stage with Doja Cat and RAYE. But her first order of business was slaying the red carpet, which she did in a Mark Gong floor-length blazer and collared button-up shirt styled to subtly show off a pair of trousers underneath.
Usually one to go for sexy glam, Lisa kept things elegant with a curled hairstyle with bangs that she adorned with a headband.
Speaking with E! on the red carpet, the singer said she wanted to showcase “a different side” of her style.
This year’s ceremony is hosted by Conan O’Brien at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre. Additional performers include Wicked duo Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, as well as Queen Latifah.

Lisa’s arrival at the star-studded show continues her streak of successes as a solo artist, which began with the release of her her 2021 single “Lalisa,” followed by the release of an EP of the same name.
On Feb. 28, she debuted her first studio album, Alter Ego, which features collaborations with Doja Cat and RAYE, Rosalía, Tyla and Megan Thee Stallion. In April, she’ll also make her Coachella debut as a solo performer before embarking on a summer tour with her BLACKPINK members Jisoo, ROSÉ and Jennie.
Branching out from her music career, the star (born Lalisa Manobal) recently made her acting debut in season 3 of The White Lotus, which takes place in Thailand, the star’s home country.

With her status as one of the biggest pop stars, Lisa’s fashion résumé has been nothing but fantastic. From her daring stage outfits to her elegant red carpet ensembles, there’s no look that’s gone untouched by the experimental trendsetter.
For her streak of appearances on The White Lotus press tour, the “Money” rapper wore a trio of breathtaking gowns and elegant bling.
At the Los Angeles premiere on Feb. 10, she walked the carpet in a regal corset gown decorated with beaded pearls that was designed by Miss Sohee. The dress also featured a sheer butter yellow pleated skirt with a mini train that pooled around her on the step-and-repeat.

For the afterparty, Lisa swung in the complete opposite direction in a curve-hugging Schiaparelli number with a pinstripe bodice and pleated white skirt.
Like many of her Hollywood counterparts, she even took a stab at method dressing for the premiere in Thailand, putting a sartorial spin on the show’s name by dressing up like a lotus flower in a fuchsia Louis Vuitton two-piece consisting of a cropped top and train-adorned pencil skirt, plus red Bulgari jewelry.

On Oct. 15, she reached another achievement when she opened the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, becoming a part of the brand’s first all-women musical lineup for the event.
Going full speed ahead, she opened the fashion show on a motorcycle while clad in a leather bolero, leather bra and slitted miniskirt.
Lisa’s willingness to play around with clothing has made her a muse for many high-fashion labels. She joined the big leagues in 2020 when she became a global ambassador for luxury jeweler Bulgari, which also works with Anne Hathaway. In the summer of 2024, she was signed on as a Louis Vuitton house ambassador.
Of her appointment, women’s artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière said: “She has a daring spirit and charisma that I find incredibly compelling. She is as bold and creative with her music as she is with her fashion, and it is a privilege to accompany her on this journey.”
