Video Transcript

Breaking news in fancy basketball.

Victor Wemanyama, the top 3 player across most leagues, is now gonna be missing the rest of the season with a blood clot in his shoulder.

The Spurs are optimistic that he can make a full recovery ahead of next year, but that doesn’t understate how significant this news is for fancy basketball managers.

Now, no one can replace a top 3 player like Victor Wemanyama, but the closest thing to it right now is gonna be.

Jeremy Sohan.

He’s likely not available in deep leagues, but make sure you take a look in shallow leagues, 10 and under.

If he’s available, pick him up immediately.

And if you want to make a speculative ad, I would look at Charles Bassey, even though he’s hurt right now in 6 games without Wembiyaama on the floor earlier this year, he averaged 7 points, 8 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks in his absence.

So outside of those two guys, we’re gonna see a huge boost in D’Aaron Fox.

Devin Vassell, Stefan Castle, Chris Paul, all these guys are gonna get a huge boost with Webbmanyama’s 30% usage rate now gone.

So make sure you try to hit the waiver wires appropriately.

So once again, massive blow for fantasy managers.

Just make sure you hit the waiver wire and try to replace Webbmanyama as the best you can.

Peace.
