俳優の松平健（71）が主演する国民的人気時代劇「暴れん坊将軍」（テレビ朝日）が4日、17年ぶりに復活。テレビ朝日ドラマプレミアム「新・暴れん坊将軍」のタイトルで4日午後9時から放送されたもので、開始早々、X（旧ツイッター）のトレンド1位に躍り出た。　「暴れん坊将軍」は、八代将軍・徳川吉宗（松平健）が貧乏旗本の三男坊・徳田新之助、通称“新さん”として庶民の暮らしにまぎれながら、江戸にはびこる悪を討つ痛快時代劇シリーズ。　令和によみがえる本作では、吉宗の治世となって二十有余年が経過した設定で、長いシリーズの中で初めて、吉宗の息子たちが登場。お世継ぎ問題、そして親子の確執と絆が大きな軸として描かれる。　冒頭からいきなり“悪者退治”のシーンから開始。「殺陣のテーマ」が流れるお馴染みのシーンに、ネットでは「ハナから上様の殺陣を見ることができて最高だわ」「オープニングから大立ち回り」「上様、年をとっても上様でカッコいいわ！暴れん坊将軍が復活してくれて嬉しい」「再放送じゃない上様はちょっと感動」「暴れん坊将軍に見入ってしまっている」「ツッコミどころ満載だけど、たのしい！おもしろい！」などの声が上がっていた。 ほかにも、ナレーターを務める「千葉繁さん」「上様の名」、悪役で冒頭で切り捨てられた「本田博太郎」、「シャンパンタワー」や「日本酒タワー」もトレンド入りした。
