富士通は、エアコンなどを生産しているグループ会社の「富士通ゼネラル」を売却することを決めました。ITやAIの関連事業に経営資源を集中させ、事業の拡大を目指す方針です。 発表によりますと、富士通は6日に取締役会を開き、グループ会社の「富士通ゼネラル」を、給湯機や空調の大手を傘下に持つ「パロマ・リームホールディングス」に売却することを決めました。パロマ側が、ことし7月上旬をめどに株式の公開買い付けをするなどして、完全子会社化するということです。また、買収総額は、およそ2500億円になる見通しです。富士通は、ITやAIを軸に事業の再編を進めていて、2018年にパソコン事業を中国のパソコンメーカーと統合したほか、携帯電話の事業を手がける子会社の株式の70％を東京に本社を置く投資ファンドに売却しています。会社は今回の売却を通じてITやAIの関連事業に経営資源を集中させ、事業の拡大を目指す方針です。 一方、「パロマ・リームホールディングス」は、富士通ゼネラルの持つエアコンの省エネ技術や販路を生かして、海外を中心に販売の拡大を目指すことにしています。 ページの先頭へ戻る
