石破茂首相 政府、与党が「在職老齢年金制度」見直しに伴い、働く高収入の高齢者への課税を強化する方向で調整していることが5日、分かった。現役世代との公平性を確保する狙い。年金と給与収入の両方ある高齢者の場合、給与収入のみの現役世代と比べ、収入が増えるほど一定程度まで税負担が軽くなるため、給与と年金の所得控除の合計額に上限を設けて格差拡大を是正する。 控除の合計額の上限については今後、与党税制調査会の中で議論する。年金の収入に関する公的年金等控除は、給与を得ていても適用される。給与所得控除に加えて年金控除も受けられる。給与収入のみの現役世代に比べ、同じ年収でも所得から差し引ける額が大きくなり、税負担が少なくなる。 現状では、年間の年金収入を200万円とした政府試算によると、年間給与との合計が700万円の場合、控除額の合計は254万円となる。一方、給与収入のみで700万円の場合の控除額は180万円だ。年金と給与の年収が計1千万円では、控除額が300万円。給与収入のみで1千万円だと控除額は195万円になる。 外部サイト
